I started 'The Abbey Bag' a few days ago, and finished it off this arvo. A flower pincushion, with a bag attached, to put all those scraps, also has a little pocket on inside lining. I purchased the pattern from
Sarah's online store.

Now, I only have to decide what to make next.....

Hope you all have a great weekend!
Love the thread bag! The fabrics look wonderful together. Hope you have a good weekend too.

Love love these thread holders.....
ReplyDeleteLove the bag, want to make it myself, what did you use for the rubberised shelf liner? Any ideas would be appreciated :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea those thread bags are. I was needing one today when I was sewing and there were threads and bits all over the floor! Have a great weekend too.
ReplyDeleteRegards, Anita.
Great idea, I've never seen anything like this before and the pincushion flower and bag are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm quilting little cell phone & nook covers at the moment with little felt roses and material penguin and cat motives. I've had to wear my $15 Tracfone SVC for seniors around my neck for emergencies.
What I like about this phone is that it's got bigger keys and letters on the screen so I don't have to strain my eyes and it only costs me $7/mnth for service.
Your creations are an inspiration to us all, I'm always putting your web photo's into my microsoft word scrapbook for my nieces to look at.
