Time For a Little Owl....

I have had the idea to do this little owl for quite some time...the stitchery (as shown in previous post) was made into a pocket for the owl front

and handy for keeping little scissors in...

I have to admit that I am not completely happy with the owl body shape so I will adjust the pattern and maybe just have all circle eyes with no crochet motifs...but for now this little owl can sit next to my sewing machine holding my little scissors! One thing I do love is the fabric...it really is pretty and hurt to cut into it for the first time!

Now it's time to give the sewing room a tidy before I start on the next project!

I hope you are finding some time for sewing too!

Very cute Lisa!!! My daughter is here with me, and when she saw it she said "HOOT HOOT ... One for [me]?!" ... I think that makes it a winner!! LOL!

G'day Lisa. It is just beautiful. I do love the fabric. I always find the first cut the hardest on fabric that I really adore. Take care. Liz...

I love your owl, especially the eyes. The crochet is perfect as it is. Perhaps he could wear the stitchery as a little backpack? Or maybe you could make it into an apron for him with ties? It's so cute!

The fabric is REALLY beautiful. I can see why you hated to cut it. 8)

Take care,
