Anna's Backyard Bag!

Not much of a day here yesterday, so spent the afternoon out in the sewing room with my little pot belly woodfire going...making this bag. Its from Leanne Beasleys Romancing the Roadtrip book (Anna's backyard bag). It has been on my 'to do' list for a while now. Dawnie had made one a little while back and kindly told me where she had purchased the fabric from (Now sold out from that shop...he he!) So if you want a MASSIVE bag that holds EVERYTHING, this is the bag for you! It is going to come in very handy...need somewhere to put all my other handbags and purses that I have made!lol!
Hope you are having a great start to the week

Oh that is soooo funny to see the same bag - looks terrific - nice choice of colours!!!!! hehe!!!! I ended up putting a big coconut shell button on the outside with to keep the top part closed when it is full, and yes it is b i g but perfect to stash everything in. Well done!!!

Hi Lisa, If I could get these darn knitting needles out of my hands, I would like to make a bag as well. lol. I am a bag girl by heart and I love the one you made. Good for you. Kind regards, Anita.

Hello Lisa, Your sewing room sounds so enticing with the pot belly. Not cold enough here for that yet. Love the idea of the big bag to hold the other bags. Love what you managed to get stitched over the Easter break.
Have a great day.

I am so far behind with all your posts and look what I've missed out on.... This is fantastic. I saw Dawnie's in Nundle. Gorgeous fabric and GREAT size. Might have to go onto my To-Do-List.
