Jacky's Purses from Homespun

I knew as soon as I flicked through my new Homespun edition (No.83 Vol 11.4) that I had to make these little purses. Just the right size for an Ipod or mobile phone with a bit extra room even for a lippy! Loved making them, and have to say Thankyou to Sue-.Anne for her advice on raw edge applique, as I hadn't done it before! You can attach them to your bag, or even your belt loop.
I have been thinking about making more of these for gifts for 15 year olds...but unsure if it's their 'thing'! What do you think??? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I don't want to go to the trouble of making them if they are not going to be liked!
Hard to believe its nearly Friday again!

Hi Lisa, I think those purses would be great gifts for teenage girls!!!! There are so many materials with funky designs on them and even florals and checks. I have been watching out for the new Homespun, have to go back down town to see if they've come in. Kind regards, Anita.

Wow! You are quick off the mark. My Homespun only arrived yesterday. They look great. I can't comment regarding the taste of teens, but I think they look funky.
