I have spent the last couple of weeks making over our back verandah. Before part of our verandah was enclosed in with lattice and a creeping Jasmine, which had taken over the garden and become a weed! So with lattice and Jasmine removed, we now have a lovely place to sit and enjoy the morning sun. Yesterday was spend painting the decking and what a difference it makes!
When I did the market thing and sold my folk art bit and pieces, which was about 4 years ago...this is like one of the pots I had for sale...I think I made about $5 for each painted teroccotta pot...not alot of profit for all the work that went into it, (It wouldn't even buy me a fat quarter of fabric today) I loved to paint poppies...one of my favourites to do!
We are having a lovely spring day here today, but its supposed to rain on the weekend...so hopefully I can get back to the sewing!
Bye for Now

It really looks wonderful Lisa and I love the cushion with all the words on it .You painted pot is just gorgeous and it is a lot of work for just $5.
It all looks so tempting to just get on a plane and come and sit there for a while. The cushion is a great idea. Is it your own pattern?
