Phone Pouch

I have been trying to decide the last couple of weeks on what handmade gift to make for my sisters birthday...always hard to know what to make for another sewer also! This week I received some books in the post, one of them was 'Pieces of Me' by Janelle Wind...such a beautiful book and I was instantly drawn to the little phone pouch project in the book.

So I made a pouch for my sister in Sugar and Spice fabrics by The Quilted Fish

And one for myself in red and whites to match my newly purchased red purse and handbag.

The Hubby and kids have headed off to the local footy leaving me to have a sewing arvo

I hope you are finding time for some sewing too!~

My immediate (voiced!) reaction when I saw the first photo was "Awww, that's so pretty!!!" ... then I saw the following couple of photos! You are so talented when it comes to fabric choices!! I am trying not to be too envious! Lol, enjoy your phone purse - I just know your sister will love hers!!

I have made some to wear on my shirt. It's hard for me to hear it when I have it in my purse so I put a pin on the back. Love it!
