Very Quiet here...

Not alot of stitching to share, last week I ended up with a cold sore under my eye and decided it was best to have a rest from stitching, so this is all the stitching I have done...a bit behind on my TTS but still plan on catching up!!

A few more bargain finds...have you guessed I LOVE red...so I couldn't resist the shoes! A pretty shade of blue cropped 3/4 sleeved cardi and vintage sheets.

And very brave to today venturing outside with the camera as it's blowing a gale and freezing...but wanted to take a picture of my Pink Ice protea, had to hold the branch steady while I snapped.

And my Hakea is also in flower

I hope you are all managing to get a bit more sewing done than me! lol!

Bye For now

Hope you are soon back sewing. It is very wintery here also.

I'm just saying: said...

Oh my goodness~! My mother used to have bed sheets just like the ones in your photo.
I give you credit for my recent success at a thrift store. I hadn't been shopping at a thrift store in about 15 years. This was because I used to shop at an amazing, yet to be equaled thrift store in San Diego and the thrift stores in Huntington Beach were ridiculously priced that it didn't make any sense to shop them.
On vacation we went to a different state and it was one of the few shops that was open on Sunday AND on the fourth of July. Everyone got clothing, but I scored the mother lode! After washing, ironing, fixing two seems, hanging and taking pictures, I'm so pleased to see I have about 81 outfits that I can throw together with just the items I bought. Each outfit calculated to about $1.21 each. All outfits can be dressed up or down for church too. I still need to get a few garments dry cleaned. I'm not sure how much that will cost, but it will be well worth it.
AND I owe it all to your last post. =) Thank you.

It's good to have a rest sometimes so hope it has done you some good. Snuggling up with a good book is my favourite non-sewing relax time. I love the shoes & your garden photos are always so well captured. Pretty pinks. Tracee xx

Lisa, your photos are spectacular! I think I may have asked this before, but I am going to blame my menopausal brain and ask again.... what camera are you using? I am about to buy one and am researching furiously...
Hope you are feeling much better..
