The Perfect Day!!!

Yesterday was perfect!! A day in my sewing room stiching my Some Kind of Wonderful...determined to have a finished quilt top by the end of the week!

I had to change the cat to a dog other poor Jess and Gypsy would be very offended!lol!

The day was miserable outside with rain and freezing cold! Inside my sewing room was cozy and warm with some music playing...it was perfect. (This pic was taken early this morning)
I starting cooking tea about 4 oclock and had plans for a chocolate self saucing pudding (everyones favourite here) I made the kids hamburgers with egg and onion and cooked mine and hubby tea last...the only problem was the kids had their laptops on the kitchen table...so I decided to set up a table setting just for me and hubby in my sewing room...

My cutting table transformed...lol!

Rocket, Potato Rosti, Scotch Fillet with coconut curry sauce...I really should make up a fancy name for this!lol!

And the Choccy pudding...yum!

I also made the ones that had the munchies a Corn and Chive dip...Which is 250g jar Corn Relish,300g sour cream, few drops tobasco sauce, 2 tablespoons chopped chives and 1/2 cup grated tasty cheese.
Combine all ingredients into a saucepan stir over heat until cheese melts..but do not allow to boil...just use a medium heat! It really is very nice!!
(I didn't add the chives as it was raining outside and didn't want to get wet collecting them!!)

Now I am off to make some Pumpkin Soup for lunch!
Bye For Now!

Wow, I'm sure hubby and the family were happy with that. It's nice to do something special at home every now and then.
