Garage Sale...

Saturday we called in to have a look at a local Garage Sale, and boy did I find some lovely things...

this gorgeous pitcher set in blue and another one in cream/apricot that is slightly smaller (in pic below)

a whiskey decanter, ceramic picture plate in background

a drawing of an old house here in town which was once the bakery many years ago...I would walk past this old house on my daily walks and dream of it being my very own patchwork shop and could easily see quilts displayed on the front verandah...nice to dream!!!lol

and I couldn't wait to see how my flowers looked in my new pitcher set

I also bought a couple of wrought iron wall designs, which I will have to share some photos of next time.

I have to apologize also for not replying to some comments on previous posts. We are having a few problems with our desktop computer and I can't send any emails...so frustrating!

Enjoy your week!!

Hello Lisa,

A beautiful jug, we saw one much the same in cream tones at a garage sale yesterday. I left it and bought a deckchair instead.Love the Bakery sketch, hold onto that dream.

Beautiful photo's.

Happy days.

I love both the pitcher sets. I'd never thought of using the set for flowers . It looks perfect. I've always looked at them in the stores now I have a reason to get one.

G'day Lisa. You found some great pieces. Well done. It's amazing some of the fabulous things you can find at garage sales. I saw the most gorgeous white wicker chair and a lovely floral cushion that the lady said she would add with it, at a garage sale only five minutes away from me here. As I was debating, another woman said she would have it. It really does pay to be quick. Oh well, it wasn't meant to be.!! Take care. Liz...
