The Vintage Baskets stitchery is from Gail Pans book 'Baskets in bloom'. This is the first of many projects that I would like to make from Gails book. I wasn't too sure how I would go doing satin stitch hearts as I've only tackled s/s circles before...but I quite enjoy doing the satin stitch. Only way to learn is to 'have a go' I suppose! I covered a canvas frame instead of doing the wallhanging as in book.

I love the idea of covering a canvas frame with your stitcheries! What a brilliant idea. Love the stitcheries by the way too.

Your stitchery loves gorgeous. Good on you. Kind regards, Anita.
I'm new to blogging and am getting the gist of blog hopping. I love all your bag pictures. My mind is now just buzzing and my fingers itchng to get stitching. A gal should always have a new bag for each oufit.
What lovely stitching and a great idea to use a canvas. There are so many clever inventive people about.
