Painted Gift Cards

I have been thinking about making some gift cards for quite a while now...and decided to do some hand painted ones. Native flowers are always one of my favourites to paint...so decided to have a go! I was quite pleased that my paints hadn't dried up after not using them for a year or so. I will also try painting some wattle and bottlebrush cards. No more handwritten notes, when I send a gift...but instead a handpainted card!

Bye for now

Lisa I think you are a talented lady and hiding your light under a bushel. I shall enjoy seeing what else you come up with. That is a great idea.

Hi Lisa, I had a go at folk art painting and gee it was fun. It gives you a new respect for artists. You discover what a craft it is to make a flower actually look like a flower using paints. Hope you're enjoying the painting, it is relaxing. Kind regards, Anita.
