My favourite spot!

Hubby finished putting the new deck down before Christmas, ready for dining out on Christmas day. We have spent all our spare time out there since! All the shrubs have grown up around the backyard boundries, which has protected our new deck beautifully!

All my favourites mingled together...Agapanthas,Grevillea, Salvia, Kangaroo paws, Penstemon.
This is where we sit on the lounge chairs watching the bumble bees and the birds. I think that later today I might have to sit with some GJ stitching!
Always a bumble bee on the red Salvia
My white Glady has flowered for the first time. I have been patiently waiting for my Lilliums to flower (Late planting them) Hopefully next post will have some to show.

I hope you have all had a great start to 2011!

Your little piece of paradise looks beautiful and very peaceful. Enjoy your hours on the deck which could result in another set of cute little stitcheries.

Beautiful photos of a beautiful garden. Alas mine is all dead and only just surfaced from the mountains of snow we have had here in UK. Hoping mine will look like yours in a few months time.
