Toadstool Pin Rest

I purchased Natalie Lymers new book 'Cotton Floss' a few weeks back, and just love every project in the book! Unsure what to make first, I decided on the little Toadstool Pin Rest...and I am so happy with it and now want to make more! lol! I bet they would look pretty in pink too! Now my biggest dilemma is what to make next!!! Anyone else making the quilt from the book???

Back to cutting school lunches tomorrow as the kids return to school...how quickly those 2 weeks went!

Also the little crochet motifs I have making of late, (In header photo) are from one of my Mums older crochet books 'The Harmony Guide to 100's More Crochet Stitches' it is an old book but you may be able to find it on ebay etc.

Bye For Now

You are the second person I've seen with that book. I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for that one, because I'm quite smitten with that adorable toadstool! I'd love to have a little grouping of them in different sizes sitting on my hutch. I love to have a good handwork project for on-the-go days.

Those little flowers you are working on are quite lovely. Do you have a plan for them? Very sweet and dainty.

I am in love with that toadstool - in fact that book is on my list of books I want to get for myself. Unfortunately I have a lot on my plate at the moment and much sewing on my 'must do list' so I don't need anything more to distract me atm, lol. The flowers look gorgeous in the white!!

Hello Lisa,

These would look great in different sizes. A bigger one could be a paper weight for holding down your patterns.
happy Monday.

Absolutely ADORABLE!!!!!!
I have been drawn to gnomes a lot lately. I saw a new fabric collection that has gnomes and these little toadstool houses. I wish I had purchased it, but alas, so much fabric already. :)
THis is just as cute as a button!!!!

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog! I adore this toadstool! I'd love to make one of those!!! I haven't heard of the book before.

I love your crochet flowers too. I've been wanting to learn crochet for years. My mum tried teaching me several times but I just couldn't do it. I bought a book recently and made my first simple flowers on the weekend!! I'm so proud of myself! They're a little amoeba-like but each one is less so LOL.
