Shirley's Garden...Take Two!

Have you ever stitched or designed something that you weren't completely happy with?? I designed and stitched Shirley's Garden a couple of months back, but I wasn't completely happy with my birdies shape. So the other day I sat down and re-drew my birdie giving her more of a rounded shape and have been stitching over the last few nights, and now I am feeling alot happier with how it looks! Just a few more stitches and I will be finished. I need to bring some colour to those poor hungry birds! lol!

We are having a taste of Spring weather here today...it's lovely after the cold windy days we had earlier in the week!

Bye For now!

G'day Lisa. It looks gorgeous. I have been unpicking a stitchery that I did some years ago, though to be honest, it's not the stitchery that I am unpicking, rather all the binding and borders that frame it. Every time I look at it, I keep saying to myself that I must do something with it. So I have started tackling the problem. Very cold and wet here in my part of Victoria today and has been for the last few days. Take care. Liz...

It is a beautiful piece of stitching Lisa and I am deeply honoured that you were so inspired to make and design your stitchery.

Looks lovely Lisa... lots of detail... I love little fat birds (I wonder if those are fairy wrens?) and your munching snail is too sweet...
