Prim fields cushion...in Homespun!

Last year, I entered a competition in Homespun mag to win some lovely prim fabrics. As I'm not too good at poems...I sent my clever SIL a text msg in SA asking if she was any good at poems...after explaining what primitive was (as she is a non-crafter!) she sent back in about 5 minutes...an acrostic poem via text! So I set about designing a cushion, taking a pic' and sending to Homespun! I received a phone call from Catherine Sanchez (Homespun editor) saying that unfortunately, I didn't win comp, but they wanted to feature my cushion in there magazine- a special primitive issue! I had to pinch myself!! So thats how 'Prim Fields" cushion was born! So, I think it pays to give these things a go, you never know what might happen!! Hope you all have a great weekend!

What a beautiful, evocative poem - very clever SIL! and very clever you for turning it in to such a charming and heart-warming cushion. Will look forward to that issue of Homespun!
