Sewing room corner and flowers...

As I am still stitching for my SSCS gifts and cannot share any pics of my work, I thought I would share my favourite little corner on the desk in my sewing room. It's a shame to keep my crochet motifs hidden away in the cupboard, so i have just displayed them around the border on one of my stitcheries on a canvas frame.

A pretty little bundle of fabrics still on display that I can't just put away yet! (Thanks again Leanne!) and a couple of my jar covers

'Buff Beauty' Weeping Rose just starting to flower

We have had some rain over night, which always brightens up the garden and one of my favourite times to get out with the camera!

I have been out in the garden early this morning removing the dirt so we can gravel, then pave our new out door area. I am having Mums 70th birthday BBQ here with all the family in a few weeks, so I am very keen to have it all ready by then. As I am typing this, I have a little female wren hopping around just outside the sliding door...only about 1 metre away...so cheeky! Lol!

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Hi Lisa, just wanted to drop in and say hello and tell you I think you are very talented. I love looking at your blog, your garden is gorgeous, your stitcheries are so delicate and beautiful and your photography skills amazing. I love all the colours you use in your sewing room. Makes me want to go and sew...and I can't sew very well! I have a new camera on my Christmas wishlist, I would love to be able to take photos as good as yours of my garden. Seeing your delicate crochet motifs makes me want to have ago at those too. My Grandma used to do beautiful crochet and sadly I never ever got her to teach me. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
