And that definately doesn't describe me! lol! I made this doll quite a while ago. She stands quite tall... hubby lathed the stand for me and I just had to paint it. These were very much the colours I use to love but am finding my tastes are changing.

Just One More!
I had to make just one more to see what it looked like in red and white...and it does match my loyalty card wallet nicely! Hmm.....black and white would also look pretty good! lol! Sarah is also having a great giveaway, so pop over and have a look.

Puffy Pouch
I popped over to Pink Penguin to thank her for a great tutorial on the fabric basket,(on my previous post) to discover these puffy pouches, also as a tutorial. I just loved making these little pouches and she always has easy to follow instructions. So I just had to make two!

Weekend Sewing
I went to do a post on Sunday to show the things I had made on the weekend, only to discover that the kids had used all the megabytes! So I had to wait until today, to do a post. I must say, that it has been a rather frustrating post, as I've had photos dissappearing! Its so annoying! Anyhow, enough of my grumblings...I was so pleased to finish Welcome My Friend needlebook, and it didn't take too long to put together at all. A couple of fabric baskets that were so easy and fun to make...and would make a great gift for easter. You can find the pattern here.
Also a little purse from Anni Downs book A Family Gathering. A Travel pocket from Leanne Beasleys Romancing the Road Trip book (at bottom) The little loyalty card wallet, I made last year and I actually use it for a little first aid wallet. I am keeping all the above things as my handbag organisers...everything, but the kitchen sink is in there! lol!

Some Finishes!
It's nice to finally have these projects finished. I would of liked to have the punchneedle put in an old rustic frame, and hubby did say he would make me one...but, as he already builds during the day and does our reno after work and weekends...I thought I would just go with a fabric border. These little key decorations are so fun to make. I did the stitching last year, and made them up during the week. They are from Anni downs' Simple Pleasures book.

Welcome My Friend!
I really enjoyed doing Rosalies' stitchery and it didn't take too long at all to complete the stitching. I hope to make it into the needlecase (yes another needlecase)lol! sometime this week! I found this punchneedle today, that I completed last year, but still can't decide what to make it into. I have also found a few stitcheries that I haven't made into anything, so I am going to try and get them all finished this week and maybe have some to show on the weekend!

The Abbey Bag!
I started 'The Abbey Bag' a few days ago, and finished it off this arvo. A flower pincushion, with a bag attached, to put all those scraps, also has a little pocket on inside lining. I purchased the pattern from Sarah's online store. Now, I only have to decide what to make next.....

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!
I hope everyone in blogland had a Happy New Year, and there's not too many sore heads out there!! New Years Eve was a really hot day here, in the high 30's (hot for here). We had a movie night planned with the kids. Just a quiet one. I did manage to finish off this bag. The stitchery is from 'A Family Gathering' book, and just made up a bag pattern, as I knew the size I wanted.
