Just a couple more skirts...

I can't help it...these wrap skirts are just so quick and easy to make, and who can resist a comfie skirt??

I purchased this fabric some time back from Spotlight.

The mannequin is just slightly smaller than me...ok ALOT smaller than me... lol so I had to sit it down from the waist quite a bit more than I actually wear it. But I do love this fabric, and it's fabric that a patchwork quilter would love more...

Written all over the skirt is 'I love fabric design, buttonhole prints bold colours' etc.

We have also started stage 2 of our renovations, which has had me busy helping hubby. I don't mind filling up the trailer with all the unwanted old building materials or demolishing the walls with the block buster, but I dislike hanging and carrying plaster sheets!!! lol!

The folder with the Anni Downs house stitchery on front, is where I keep all my info for the reno...paint colours, plans etc. I have been looking at carpet colours for our bedroom and WIR. Only recarpetting our bedroom but the WIR has been built on. I will share some pics when it's all finished.

I hope you all have a great week

The shirts are gorgeous. We are also renovating and I have decided that we aren't plasterers and we will be getting in professionals for the next part. It is amazing how the plasterboard snaps quickly and I used words I don't normally use when we did the cornice in the one and only room we did plaster ourselves. Louise

What the best dressed bloggers should be wearing. Fab skirts Lisa. I am sure that you will do a great job on the renovations if the results of your lovely sewing room are anything to go by. Crack that whip.

I love your skirts.... I remember my mum making us skirts like this with matching tops. Very swish.
