First project completed for 2013!

Tonight I completed my first project for 2013...it is only small and very quick and easy to make too! This little thread catcher is from Natalie Birds Red Home book, but I think it makes a cute little gift bag to hold fabrics etc.

you can also see more of these cute little thread bags on the stitch-a-long blog

The fabric used is Rosies Love Letters...such a pretty fabric range!

But I do caution you...you can't make just one of these little bags as they become addictive!lol!
Now to find some more fabric to make another!!!
Bye For Now!

Hello Lisa,
I havae been making these little bags fro a few years now as gifts, for the Grandaughters I made this size then one smaller for their hair clips, the larger one i put a harbrush etc in one Christmas and I even made them for the boys with hair product etc in and they love them. For my dear friends i made the bag and a needlecase to match and little scissor keepers and it makes a delightful gift.Just thought i would share that idea with you,I also do a larger one with handles in shabby chic colours and they are peg bags. They are addictive and if I ever make them for the markets they walk off the stand. Thanks for sharing the gorgeous fabric.
