Crappy photos!

Yes, two posts in one day...but after I did my last post on my covered notepad, and looked at my crappy photo...I knew I had done something wrong. Turns out that I only had camera on the wrong setting...portrait of all things!

I mentioned in a previous post, that I use my dressing gown as a pincushion, which probably isn't a good idea...so I hunted out my Leanne beasley couch companion, that I made last year (pre blog) and decided to make good use of it!

I think that you all know by now that I love my garden...this is a stitchery I designed last year with 'My Garden' in mind...sometimes its nice to have a play with a few drawings and seeing it all come together once stitched and sewn.

My protea...will it ever open!lol!

Bye for now

Cannot believe, Lucy! You must have special hands. I do love all the things you do and the way you match the fabrics and the colours. Hugs, Clara.

You do such beautiful work.

I believe I have a yellow protea that I planted about 5 years ago. It was planted out as a tube. It's only about waist high now. (sigh) At least you have a flower that will open eventually. LOL! I do wonder if mine will ever flower but then again, I'm no gardener. I'm keeper of the weeds. Ha!

I have that couch companion too! I did the stitchery a little different, I made the pincushion part out of wool and did some wool applique on it but it is the best pattern! It sits beautifully on the arm of my chair.
