My First Hexie Flower

I made my very first hexie flower last night...they really should come with an addiction warning!lol! They are so much fun to make. I have wanted to make hexie flowers for so long, and when I received my recent Homespun issue with Anni Downs' pincushion...I knew I just HAD to learn! Plus there have been lots of Wednesday hexie flowers popping up in blogland tormenting me!lol!
I know my first flower is not perfect...but I feel I learn from my mistakes and can correct it for next time!

My Hakea flower is lovely at the moment...I love how they change colour with age.
I hope you have a great week!
Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Well done, your hexie flower looks pretty neat to me. They are a great project to just pick up and put down and as you say, addictive. I shall look forward to seeing a garden full before too long.

Lovely! I adore hexies and make lots of hexies' flowers, even to decorate the hand towels. Enjoy your time, Clara.
